Update: November

Hello fellow booklovers!

It’s been quite and exciting few months over here! I decided to change the path I had taken and start a new chapter back home. So I quit my job (a very interesting postdoc at the University here) and I’m moving back to Belgium in less than two weeks! I’ve been preparing to move these past few days. Even though I’ve moved like 10 times in the last 5 years, I’m still always a bit overwhelmed by all the logistics that come with it. There are so many people to contact!

But I’m very excited about this change. A whole new realm of opportunities is opening up for me and I’m so looking forward to exploring what those possibilities might be. In the meantime I’ve also officially opened my shop! It was scary and exhilirating and everything has actually been going really well. I make book sleeves, fabric bookmarks and bag but I’m expanding my range with fabric covered notebooks (for all your reviewers, scribblers and writers out there!) and soon also laptop sleeves. You can imagine that with all this going on I didn’t have much time to read. I’m desperately craving more reading time and I’ve spent the weekend packing up most of my stuff so that I can at least have some quiet time to sit and read over the next two weeks before the move. Obviously I’ll also have time over the Christmas holidays to catch up on some reading! So I’m very much looking forward to that.
