Already a bit curious what this book will be all about? Take a look at the blurb:

A new drug – Shut-Eye – has been developed in the dreamland, and smuggled into our world. It’s addictive, and dangerous, and Shadow Watch agents Audra and Mr Jinx are on the case, preparing new recruits to deal with the problem.
Meanwhile, a wave of ancient, bodiless Incubi are entering the dreams of humans in an attempt to possess them and live new lives. Only the criminally insane would ever risk a confrontation with them.

Thank goodness, then, for Mr Jinx: clown, Shadow Watch agent, psychopath.

I bet you’re even more curious now. ‘Dream Stalkers’ is the second book in the Shadow Watch series and the lovely people from Angry Robot Books are letting me give away a copy of the first book ‘Night Terrors’ that will be published in June this year.

Night TerrorsIt’s Supernatural meets Men in Black in a darkly humorous urban fantasy from the author of Nekropolis.
When you dream, you visit the Maelstrom. Dream long enough and hard enough, and your dreams can break through into the living world. So, alas, can your nightmares.
And who’s there to catch the dreams and nightmares as they fall into reality? Meet the Shadow Watch.
Pray you never need them…

The colours are just wonderful! I just love how the characters and the surroundings fit together because of the colours. And I like the depth that has been created. normally I’m not a fan of pictures on the cover of a book, but for this is works really well!

I have to admit I’m not too thrilled with this cover. It just looks wacky …but who knows maybe it will match the books vibe if it goes that way. I’m still looking forward to reading it…just bah…that cover *I’m such a cover snob*

It is a rather special cover, but I think it really matches the story in the book. And in the end, it’s the story that counts right? (But I get it, I judge a book by its cover too!)
